On to Laos

We left Chiang Mai today and are be heading to the Lao border with a plan to cross over on Friday. We've been static for a while and we figure it will take a while to get our travelling legs under us so we're not planning to move too fast. Once in Laos we'll be taking a two day boat trip down the Mekong river terminating in what's supposed to be a very nice french colonial city called Luang Prabang (remember how to pronounce those "ng" sounds).
