New Job and New Home

Bangkok, Thailand

We have begun working with YWAM Thailand in their National Office doing a variety of mostly administrative tasks. We're still in the process of figuring out what we'll be doing so I can't provide too much extra detail right now. What I can tell you is that the National Office provides support services to over 35 different ministries operating in Thailand and the surrounding countries. To find out more check out the following website. http://www.ywamthai.org/

We have also moved into our new home for the next few months. It's a two bedroom apartment on the 6th (top) floor of a residential compound that we are subletting from a Canadian couple that is heading back to Calgary for the next 6 months.

The apartment is a couple of miles from our office so we've been commuting to work on motorcyle taxis. When we walk out of the gate of our compound there are always a handful of drivers wearing high visibility vests sitting on motorcylces ready to take us wherever we want to go. When we come out of the office we find another similiar group just a little ways down the street. It's very convenient and once you get used to riding on the back of a motorcycle in close quarters with other vehicles its even kind of fun.
