I was wandering the malls of downtown Bangkok, quite enchanted by the Christmas carols being piped through the whole area. These were not just any Christmas carols, they were Christian songs...O, Come All Ye Faithful, We Three Kings as well as poppy Jingle Bell Rock. As I was enjoying them, I struck me as odd that a country with a population consisting of less than 1% Christians would play the holiday tunes everywhere, and in Canada...it is politically incorrect to call it Christmas, because it implies a Christian religious event. Ironic.
