Bangkok
We've been in Bangkok almost 2 weeks now and it will soon be time to say good-bye. On Wednesday we fly to Hanoi, Vietnam and will be spending the month of December exploring that country. We are looking forward to the different food, the strong, sweet, cold Vietnamese coffee, windsurfing and diving off the coast, Christmas on the beach!, and seeing who we meet along the way.
The biggest news we have is that while here we connected with a friend of a friend who works with Youth With a Mission. http://www.ywamthai.org/ It turns out that they have need of some of our skills and we will be returning here to Bangkok in early January to work for 1-3 months on a couple of projects for them. We're really looking forward to it for a number of reasons: interesting and challenging work, the chance to build some deep relationships and the chance to have a home for a while.
