As we mentioned in an earlier post we picked up a 1980 VW Westfalia to aid us in our adventures this summer. The vehicle itself has been an adventure. First it was the mouse that came to visit us on our first night camping in a provincial park. Then it was running out of gas when the tank reads one quarter full. Finally, it was the out-of-province inspection that it failed to pass and the resulting repairs took 6 weeks to complete.
We are finally driving it and look forward to taking it around BC for a couple of weeks in August.
